Transition from NTUC Gold Card to New U Card

 

 With effect from 1 May 2010 onwards, the new U Card will replace the existing Gold NTUC Card.

As such, the gold NTUC Card will only be valid until 30 April 2010.

Once the U Card is used, the gold NTUC Card will be de-activated.

Please contact our Deputy General Secretary Mr Burhanuddin or other Exco members, if you have not collected your U card yet.  If you have already collected, you are encouraged to use the new U card to enjoy the benefits like LinkPoints and rebates.

Ms Lynnette Loh appointed to AESU Executive Committee

AESU is pleased to announce the co-option of Ms Lynnette Loh from SATS to the Executive Committee (Exco) with effect from 2nd February 2010. Ms Loh fills the position vacated by Comrade Liew Loke Sen, who served as an Exco Member from 2000 until his retirement from service in December 2009.

Ms Loh, who works in SATS Catering Division as Assistant Manager, Quality Control and Standards, is a member of AESU Corporate Committee for SATS since its inception in Feb 2008 and has been active in that ......

Reduction in MVC cut for SIA's Administrative Officers

Reduction in Monthly Variable Component (MVC) Cut


Singapore Airlines, the parent Company, reported an operating profit of $231M for 3Q FY09/10 on 2 February 2010. This will bring the cumulative operating loss for the first three quarters of the financial year to $197.5 M.

The reduction in the cumulative loss will result in a lower MVC cut of 75%, translating to 7.5% of staff's basic salary. This is a reduction of 2.5% from the 10% salary cuts for the 6 months to January 2010
